Travelers Championship Travelers Championship

This is the northeast's stop on the PGA tour and features some of the best golfers in the world as well as the Celebrity Pro-Am and a family-friendly Fan Zone. Everything tees off at TPC River Highlands, which is 6,844 yards of exceptional golf for a par 70 course located in Cromwell, just 10 miles south of Hartford. Mountain bikers in Hartford enjoy a trek through Penwood State Park. Located approximately 9 miles northwest of Hartford off Connecticut Highway 185, the recreation trail is as challenging as it is picturesque. To the west, the trail approaches edges of cliffs, so extreme caution is strongly advised. Less experienced riders should steer clear of (or carefully through) the single track trails.
