There's nothing quite like a case of the blues. It's no fun when you have it alone, but when you get together with fellow blues enthusiasts at the annual Knology Sea-Blues Festival, the blues are most definitely worth celebrating. The two day festival, usually held in May, features a variety of regionally and nationally recognized blues artists. This event is free to the public.

But you can change all that by enjoying a zany evening filled with chuckles and belly laughs when you make your reservation at Clearwater's Coconuts Comedy Club. The nightlife comedy venue has been open since 1986 and has been providing an impressive roster of the best stand-up comedians from all over the country. Also, Coconuts welcomes several up-and-coming talents who are dead serious about making you laugh.

It is always fun to learn about the ocean and all of the life that makes its home there. But it is a completely different experience to actually be out on the water to see that life in action. Aquatic enthusiasts will most definitely enjoy that opportunity when they get on board for the Sea Life Safari Boat Tour. This two-hour excursion is associated with the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and provides participants the chance to look for dolphins, sea birds and other marine life as one of the aquarium staff member narrates the scenic ride to a shell island. One of the many highlights of the trip includes seeing a net pull that offers a chance to reach out and touch ocean wildlife before they are released back into their natural habitat.
