Located a block from the beach, this is an extension of Bobby Heilman's main restaurant and offers delicious a la carte dining in four separate dining rooms. The wine bar is the obvious highlight, as its extensive inventory includes more than 20,000 bottles. The menu is equally impressive, featuring such delicious fare as sherry garlic shrimp, a half-rack of JamAsian baby back ribs and gourmet pizzas.

Become a pirate for a day when you board the Clearwater Beach Day Trip with Pirate Cruise. This day cruise offers the dramatic combination of gorgeous beaches and boisterous buccaneers. On this 90 minute ride that goes from Orlando to Clearwater, you'll spend some time on the beach before you board Captain Memo's Pirate Cruise that features treasure hunts, face painting, gun games, storytelling and other attractions that the kids will love. The Clearwater Historical Society consistently puts forth its various efforts in the conservation, research and use of the area's past. They do this by recovering and preserving various historical artifacts, relics and documentation. The organization also provides its services to other museums and educational institutions. The Society also maintains the Plumb House Museum on its property that offers free admission to visitors who want to come and dig deeper into Clearwater's history.

When November finally trots around, Clearwater running enthusiasts know that the Times Turkey Trot will soon be getting underway. This is the largest running event in the Tampa Bay, drawing nearly 16,000 participants. This road race is for competitive runners, recreational runners and walkers of all ages. When you pay your entry fee, you'll get a t-shirt. Trophies are awarded to the top finishers and all the proceeds go to help local charities. Additionally, non-perishable food items are collected the day of the race and are donated to a local food pantry.
