The Pinellas County African American History Museum dramatically underscores the contributions of the African American culture through the use of various exhibits that present artifacts and other items of interest. The museum also regularly schedules various unique events throughout the year that further highlight the African American experience.

Many people yearn for the good old days when things were simpler. Instead of yearning for them, you can actually travel back to them when you visit Heritage Village. In the wake of fast-moving progress, there were several buildings in Pinellas County slated for demolition. Fortunately, these places were saved and moved to this location which features two dozen structures that include a store, a church, a school, an outhouse and several private residences from yesteryear that are still very much a part of today.
