Located in Tarpon Springs, Brooker Creek is one of the top parks in Pinellas County. When November finally trots around, Clearwater running enthusiasts know that the Times Turkey Trot will soon be getting underway. This is the largest running event in the Tampa Bay, drawing nearly 16,000 participants. This road race is for competitive runners, recreational runners and walkers of all ages. When you pay your entry fee, you'll get a t-shirt. Trophies are awarded to the top finishers and all the proceeds go to help local charities. Additionally, non-perishable food items are collected the day of the race and are donated to a local food pantry.

For something a little different tonight, get ready for the classy nightlife experience that is Bobby's Bistro and Wine Bar. Located a block from the beach, this is an extension of Bobby Heilman's main restaurant and offers delicious a la carte dining in four separate dining rooms. The wine bar is the obvious highlight, as its extensive inventory includes more than 20,000 bottles. The menu is equally impressive, featuring such delicious fare as sherry garlic shrimp, a half-rack of JamAsian baby back ribs and gourmet pizzas.

Everything from folk trios to classic jazz bands to seasonal favorites like "The Nutcracker" and other musical performances are part of the impressive entertainment schedule at Clearwater's Ruth Eckerd Hall. The venue's impressive stage and design make every performance a real treat for the senses no matter where your seat is located in the spacious auditorium. The Hall also offers a variety of classes that are designed to bring out the artist in everyone who enrolls. There are also many different activities and special presentations planned throughout the year that are designed to preserve the art of performance for future generations.
