This particular pier attracts over two million visitors a year and is actually an iconic landmark with its inverted pyramid shape that cuts into the Tampa Bay skyline. The aquarium continues it's impressive 23-year tradition of educating visitors about the importance of sustaining our marine wildlife through engaging exhibits and attractions. Go on a four-hour adventure packed with sun, surf and history when you take the Egmont Key Snorkeling from St. Pete Beach. As you travel through the clear blue waters off of St. Pete Beach, you will begin to embark on a unique adventure that will allow you to explore the remains of Fort Dade which dates back to the Spanish-American War. You will also visit the historic island of Egmont Key that is home to the National Wildlife Refuge. Another highlight is the lighthouse that was constructed in 1848. Then, you can enjoy a big splash with the opportunity to snorkel, swim, or just stay on board the ship and relax.

In the wake of fast-moving progress, there were several buildings in Pinellas County slated for demolition. Luckily, these places were saved and moved to this location which features two dozen structures that include a store, a church, a school, an outhouse and several private residences from yesteryear that are still very much a part of today.
