Boyd Hill Nature Park offers you a chance to spend some time outdoors and encounter some of the area's wildlife without venturing too far from civilization. This impressive nature preserve is located south of St. Petersburg and spreads out over 245 acres of terrain that includes marshlands, lake shores, and forests. There are also several boardwalks and nature trails to discover. Special tours and nighttime hikes are offered, in addition to the popular kid's day camps.

The Museum of Fine Arts houses an incredibly far-reaching collection of art from around the world that spans several historical and artistic eras. You'll encounter over 18,000 works here, and these include some of the world's most seminal creations by such artists as Monet, Renoir, O'Keeffe, Bellows and Hassaam. Additionally, you'll see some of the most compelling exhibits that illustrate Greek, Egyptian, Asian, African, pre-Columbian, and Native American art. There's also a great cafe and gift shop that perfectly round out your visit.

If you like wine, then you owe it to yourself to visit the Florida Orange Groves Winery. And there's no doubt that you will soon become a fan of their wine made from tropical fruit. Your glass will be filled with something truly different, interesting and delightful when you sample these unique flavors. And carrot wine? You won't believe how good it is until you taste it.
