Get a closer look at these magnificent specimens of greenery when you visit the Gizella Kopsick Palm Arboretum. Your senses will be treated to many exotic and native Florida palms and cycads all presented in a truly stunning fashion. You will be amazed at some of these palms that are too large for a conventional yard. Also, several rare and exotic palm trees can be found here that serve as the perfect setting for your romantic time together.

Brooker Creek is one of the top parks in the St. Petersburg area. Visitors truly enjoy experiencing wildlife like tortoises, wild turkey, white-tailed deer and river otters in their natural environments. Also, the sprawling trails at the park will challenge even the most in-shape walkers and runners. Pirates of every shape, size and color descend on St. Petersburg's Vinoy Park every November for the Florida Pirate Festival. This event showcases various forms of interactive theater that celebrate the legendary Caribbean pirate tradition. The park becomes overrun with all things pirate, but also manages to include music, rides, comedy, cannons, storytelling, artisan crafts, nighttime fire shows and great food as well as a plethora of pirates!
