Fans of Indy Car action look forward to the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg held every late March or early April. In addition to the Indy Car race, there is also an Indy Pro race and an American Le Mans Series race, all held on a waterfront track in downtown St. Petersburg. Florida football fans look forward to the season every year as it is another chance to see the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers take the field. The sports team is a member of the Southern Division of the National Football Conference. The team has been a consistent playoff contender and won Superbowl XXXVII at the end of the 2003 season. They play their home games at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
