The Salvador Dali Museum is a worthwhile day trip to St. Petersburg from Tampa. The museum holds the largest Dali collection outside of Spain. In the wake of fast-moving progress, there were several buildings in Pinellas County slated for demolition. Luckily, these places were saved and moved to this location which features two dozen structures that include a store, a church, a school, an outhouse and several private residences from yesteryear that are still very much a part of today.
