Fans of Indy Car action look forward to the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg held every late March or early April. In addition to the Indy Car race, there is also an Indy Pro race and an American Le Mans Series race, all held on a waterfront track in downtown St. Petersburg. Your senses will be treated to many exotic and native Florida palms and cycads all presented in a truly stunning fashion. You will be amazed at some of these palms that are too large for a conventional yard. Also, several rare and exotic palm trees can be found here that serve as the perfect setting for your romantic time together.

The kids will love seeing the aquatic life and learning about their rehabilitation when you visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. This unassuming facility serves as both a rehabilitation facility for animals as well as an educational facility where visitors can learn more about ecology and role which wildlife plays in it through fascinating exhibits and attractions. The kids will be excited to see such creatures as sea turtles, sharks, otters, dolphins and sting rays.
