The Museum of Fine Arts houses an incredibly far-reaching collection of art from around the world that spans several historical and artistic eras. Additionally, you'll see some of the most compelling exhibits that illustrate Greek, Egyptian, Asian, African, pre-Columbian, and Native American art. Going underground has never been as much fun as it is when you take the family out to visit Sunken Gardens. At fifteen feet below street level, a botanical paradise awaits you at this attraction. This is St. Petersburg's oldest living museum that has offered a natural solace to visitors for over 100 years. Find your way through the footpath that will lead you through the gardens as you take in some of the world's most exotic and tropical plants. Also, there is a mesmerizing cascading waterfall that you won't want to miss.

The Tampa Bay Rays are a Major League Baseball team based in St. Petersburg and are a member of the Eastern Division of MLB's American League. In 2008 they won their first division title and won the pennant. Since 2007 the sports team has had four straight winning seasons and three playoff appearances. They play their home games at Tropicana Field.
