The Museum of Fine Arts houses an incredibly far-reaching collection of art from around the world that spans several historical and artistic eras. You'll encounter over 18,000 works here, and these include some of the world's most seminal creations by such artists as Monet, Renoir, O'Keeffe, Bellows and Hassaam. Additionally, you'll see some of the most compelling exhibits that illustrate Greek, Egyptian, Asian, African, pre-Columbian, and Native American art. There's also a great cafe and gift shop that perfectly round out your visit.

Donuts may be guilty pleasures for most people, but when you visit Fray's Donut House, the guilt totally disappears. This fun donut shop is decidedly retro and prides itself in serving up donuts the way you remember them. The shop has been successfully doing business in St. Petersburg for many years and in addition to their donuts, they offer breakfast sandwiches and coffee all at reasonable prices. But of course, the donuts are the main attractions and with over 20 different varieties, you're sure to find a dozen that's just perfect for you!

Various events of history can be a bit eerie, but when you experience the unique Ghost Tour of downtown St. Petersburg, that eerie feeling is elevated to a higher, much more chilling level. You'll hear true accounts of wandering ghostly spirits, haunted mansions, displaced phantoms and age old curses. Although the tour is a causal, unassuming walk through the city's quaint streets and beautiful waterfront, there are plenty of startling revelations on this unexpectedly shadowy excursion.

The American Stage is considered to be the best theater organization in the area, and with good reason. It was founded in 1977 and has been staging impressive productions that feature the talents of area actors, directors and technicians. American Stage features a wide variety of entertainment that ranges from dramatic classics to the cutting edge as well as everything from musicals to Shakespeare. There are performances offered all year long as well as the popular "American Stage in the Park" in the Spring.
