Missouri State Fair
Visit one of the oldest Missouri traditions. Since 1901, the Missouri State Fair has showcased all the favorite concerts, animal exhibits and competitions, homemade crafts, shows and foods of the Show-Me State for local residents and out-of-town (or state) guests. The Phoenix Jazz Club
The Phoenix Jazz Club has thrived like its namesake since 1888. Located in the corner of downtown, the Phoenix was once a shady hotel, rumored to be more of a bordello and complete with a speakeasy saloon.
