When KC’s original symphony orchestra was dissolved in 1982, the philanthropist R. Crosby Kemper Jr. insisted on creating the Kansas City Symphony. Since its formation, this new symphony orchestra has served as a vital part of the music community. National World War 1 Museum
Located in the Liberty Memorial, the National World War 1 Museum dedicates its space to preserving the artifacts and memorabilia from WWI.
