Visit one of the oldest Missouri traditions. Since 1901, the Missouri State Fair has showcased all the favorite concerts, animal exhibits and competitions, homemade crafts, shows and foods of the Show-Me State for local residents and out-of-town (or state) guests. Spend one day or all eleven days of the festival taking in the best concerts and events of the season.

Attending a show at the Folly Theater can hardly be considered a folly. First opened in 1900, this theater venue has a rich past and well-preserved architecture. Come by Kansas City’s premier showcase to see a variety of entertainment including renowned artists, musicians and performers from across the world.

If you prefer fun-based adrenaline rushes over fear-based, check out the Power Play Family Entertainment Center where people of all ages can have a great time experiencing all kinds of recreational fun. Climb a rock wall, race in the go-karts, get dizzy in a tilt-a-whirl, take out your aggression in bumper cars, compete in laser tag and much, much more.

Come aboard the Arabia Steamboat Museum to catch a glimpse of the Kansas and Missouri frontier life in the 1800s. A perfect time capsule, the Arabia sank into the Missouri River in 1856, taking all its treasures into the muddy waters. Excavated in 1988, the salvaged and restored artifacts are now on display for all to enjoy.
