Let your wild things meet the wild things at the Kansas City Zoo. Located in Swope Park, this zoo features five main sections—Africa, Australia, Tiger Trail, KidZone and The Valley—as well as several special exhibitions and attractions, rides and shows. Located in the Liberty Memorial, the National World War 1 Museum dedicates its space to preserving the artifacts and memorabilia from WWI. Appointed by Congress as America’s official WWI museum, you will encounter exhibits filled with photographs, propaganda posters, maps, uniforms, guns and even a Renault FT-17 tank. Learn what life was like during this time period through interactive displays and honor the soldiers who lost their lives at the memorial.
