Located in the Liberty Memorial, the National World War 1 Museum dedicates its space to preserving the artifacts and memorabilia from WWI. Appointed by Congress as America’s official WWI museum, you will encounter exhibits filled with photographs, propaganda posters, maps, uniforms, guns and even a Renault FT-17 tank. Learn what life was like during this time period through interactive displays and honor the soldiers who lost their lives at the memorial.

Visit one of the oldest Missouri traditions. Since 1901, the Missouri State Fair has showcased all the favorite concerts, animal exhibits and competitions, homemade crafts, shows and foods of the Show-Me State for local residents and out-of-town (or state) guests. Spend one day or all eleven days of the festival taking in the best concerts and events of the season.

Bring the kids (and adults) out to Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead to learn about life on a turn-of-the-century farm. This unique zoo contains over 200 animals found on farms throughout the nation, many of which are featured in the Petting Zoo. Gather freshly-laid eggs, milk a cow, bottle-feed a baby goat, ride a pony and more on this fun, interactive and educational farm.
