Experience life as a race car driver on the Kansas Speedway. This tri-oval racetrack hosts two NASCAR race weekends each year. When it is not hosting a motorsports event that will get your blood rushing, you can catch a rush of adrenaline by driving an authentic racecar around the track.

Bring the kids (and adults) out to Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead to learn about life on a turn-of-the-century farm. This unique zoo contains over 200 animals found on farms throughout the nation, many of which are featured in the Petting Zoo. Gather freshly-laid eggs, milk a cow, bottle-feed a baby goat, ride a pony and more on this fun, interactive and educational farm.

Enjoy a show in the outdoor Starlight Theatre, one of three remaining self-producing outdoor theaters in the country. An audience of up to 7,947 can view touring Broadway shows and concerts on its historic stage. This musical theater is one of the most famous theatrical and musical entertainment venues in the city, so be sure to stop by for a slice of KC culture.
