This impressive facility features over 400 cubic yards of concrete in various shapes and angles that will challenge even the most accomplished skateboarders. Safety is always emphasized as boarders are required to wear a helmet when on the course. There is also a separate play space for 2 to 5-year-olds.

Many hikers and bikers in Topeka enjoy the experience of moving along the Dornwood Park Trail. The trail is located in southeast Topeka and accessible from a trailhead on SE 25th Street, east of California Avenue. The recreational trail winds through the heavily forested Deer Creek and features some challenging, rolling terrain, prairie grasses and breathtaking views.

The White Concert Hall in Topeka is found on the Washburn University campus and is fittingly the home of the school's music department.
