Thousands of photographs, personal effects and memorabilia are all gathered for visitors to see during one of the many daily guided tours. Behind every star there is a story, and you'll hear them all at the Stage of Stars and Legends Museum.

The expanse of the 200-acre Oxbow Lake at the C. Bickham Dickson Park is the first clue that the natural allure of the water and all of its outdoor surroundings will create a picturesque moment that you will look back on with a smile. This amazing 585-acre park is the largest in Shreveport.

Whether you wish to walk along the shores of Cross Lake or take a boat out for a sail, the aquatic scenery and fresh air will help to create the perfect scenario for a romantic date. If you're out around sunset, don't forget to bring your camera, as the Shreveport twilights are unbelievably picturesque.

Every spring, you'll find locals and visitors looking up to the skies because that's where all the action is during the Barksdale Air Show. Vintage aircraft is on display and in the air, and often the personnel who commandeer the planes are available for questions and photo ops with spectators. It's a supersonic time for the whole family!
