C Bickham Dickson Park
The expanse of the 200-acre Oxbow Lake at the C. Bickham Dickson Park is the first clue that the natural allure of the water and all of its outdoor surroundings will create a picturesque moment that you will look back on with a smile. This amazing 585-acre park is the largest in Shreveport.
Artbreak
Artbreak takes place every April and May. Students from Bossier and Caddo Parish take part in several hands-on art projects and also serve as judges for the various pieces that are completed. This festival is a weekend of dance, music, theater, food, fun and even a 5K race.
Shreveport Opera
Whether it's talented locals or world class, seasoned performers, they all feel at home when they're performing at the Shreveport Opera. Some of the season's many notable productions include Don Giovanni, La Boheme and Tosca.
