Car enthusiasts from all over the country will definitely want to park it at the Backing Up Classics Auto Museum.  While the venue is small, it makes excellent use of the space it does have by presenting some intriguing autos.  Some of the featured exhibits include cars as far back as the 1920s right through the auto boom of the 50s and 60s.  There is also a row dedicated exclusively to Mustangs.  Muscle cars, classics, and standards are all spotlighted in this fun, highly popular museum. 

The Belk Theater is the busiest venue located within the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, as the Belk welcomes various types of artists and entertainment from all over the world to its stage. Their appearances put smiles on the faces of the numerous audience members who have come to expect the best from the Belk. The Charlotte Repertory Theatre and the North Carolina Dance Theatre occupy a space on the performance schedule every year. Other groups that also take the stage here include the Carolina Voices and various productions from the Carolinas Concert Association, all of which perform under the theater's wondrous 2,400 lights that are custom built right into its ceiling.

Heading uptown? Then your destination should be the hippest, coolest nightlife destination in that section of town. Formerly the Liquid Lounge, TILT will prove to be the place where you'll start your evening and stay until closing time. The powerful combination of the club's stylish surroundings, eye-catching patrons and excellent drink menu makes TILT wildly popular with the white-collar crowd.
