In 2010, Capital Opera Raleigh and the Opera Company merged, forming the North Carolina Opera. Star conductors, art directors and musicians comprise what is now the best of the best version of this organization, and that means that every time the opera is on, you'll see and hear top notch performances.

Put the pedal to the metal at the Rush Hour Karting track. This is a fun, state-of-the-art indoor raceway, where you can get your kart to go as fast as 40 miles per hour as you compete for the best time and the championship title!

The Joel Lane Museum House tells the interesting story of how Raleigh came to be. As you walk through the house that is adorned with vintage furnishings and other genuine relics of the period, you'll hear the story of how Lane, a prominent statesman and soldier, sold the 1,000 acres of his land for the formation of a new capital in 1792.
