Hopscotch Music Festival is an annual 3-day music festival in downtown Raleigh featuring local, national, and international bands in a variety of genres — rock, hip-hop, metal, dance, punk, alt-country, classical, noise, drone, folk and more. More than 130 acts play in multiple venues within a walkable footprint in downtown Raleigh, with artists performing on an outdoor main stage and in many local clubs.
Sure, Raleigh's history is fascinating, but all those facts and stories might make you a little hungry. When your hunger for history turns into your hunger for a great meal, take the Taste of Carolina Gourmet Food Tours and taste the best items from the menus of standout restaurants and shops.
Instead of the pressure of a big dinner, why not enjoy a couple of choice glasses of wine on a romantic date at the West End Wine Bar?
The Kennedy Center is situated within its impressive structure, and that particular theater features an impressive stage and multi-dimensional acoustics that make the more intimate performances like solo piano concerts and one act plays that much more vivid. Other entertainment venues within the event center are the Memorial, Fletcher Opera and the Meymandi; each hosts ballets, plays and other live entertainment.
