The North Carolina State Fair attracts an impressive 800,000 people every year, making it the largest annual event in North Carolina. Over the course of the 11-day festival, arts, agriculture, cultural exhibits and an amusement fairway all offer something fun to do and see every minute that you are there. If just riding your bike isn't quite enough for you, let your inner daredevil come to the surface at Capital City BMX. The BMX Track races are organized according to age groups and skill levels to ensure fair but always dramatic competition. The BMX program is sanctioned by the American Bicycle Association. Spectators are admitted for free.
