The Burning Coal Theatre Company isn't your usual thespian experience. The actors are not only prepared with their cues and their lines, but they also are quite well-versed in improvisation and playing off of whatever kind of audience for which they are performing. So, for an intimate yet interactive theater experience that you won't ever forget, light a fire to the Burning Coal Theatre!

The North Carolina State Fair attracts an impressive 800,000 people every year, making it the largest annual event in North Carolina. Over the course of the 11-day festival, arts, agriculture, cultural exhibits and an amusement fairway all offer something fun to do and see every minute that you are there. Also, the event always features performances by nationally recognized talent.

The Joel Lane Museum House tells the interesting story of how Raleigh came to be. As you walk through the house that is adorned with vintage furnishings and other genuine relics of the period, you'll hear the story of how Lane, a prominent statesman and soldier, sold the 1,000 acres of his land for the formation of a new capital in 1792.

The artists of tomorrow are here today at Gallery C. The clean, spacious presentation harkens back to a scene reminiscent of some of the best known galleries in New York and Los Angeles, but the artwork and the individuals who created them are uniquely Raleigh in so many ways.
