Essex Hudson Urology

Although still under construction, the Hackensack RiverWalk offers hikers and bikers an excellent urban walkway. This eight-mile recreation trail follows along the Hackensack Riverfront and the Newark Bay. Many residential areas and parks are connected by this greenway already, and Hudson County plans for more sections to come.

View more than 12,000 works of art at the Montclair Art Museum, one of the only museums in the US dedicated to American and Native American art and artifacts. This distinctive collection includes paintings, prints, drawings, photographs and sculptures from way back in the 18th century up to today.

Explore the historic Weequahic Park, designed by the Olmsted Brothers during the 1890s although the area had been a popular area for hosting agricultural fairs and horse racing before then. Named after the Lenape Native American phrase for “head of the cove,” this park contains the largest natural lake in the county, rolling hills, the historic Dividend Hill pavilion and portions of the East Coast Greenway.

All ages are welcome at the Branch Brook Roller Skating Center, a state-run roller-skating rink in the park. Come for a skating lesson, watch the Garden State Rollergirls practice or just enjoy some fun public skating. Perfect for parties and themed events, this skating rink is open seven days a week during the daytime and evenings, as well as several late night events each week just for the adults.
