Visit the landmark Loew’s Jersey Theatre, an entertainment venue that hosts numerous community events, live performances and film screenings on its large stage and single-screen theater. One of the five Loew’s Wonder Theatres, this Baroque/Rococo building underwent several changes since it first opened in 1929 but is currently being renovated and restored to its original design with a few technological upgrades.

Located just minutes away from the heart of downtown and all of its attractions, Branch Brook Park is a gorgeous retreat in the middle of an urban landscape. Wander through its 360 acres of sprawling meadows and woodlands. Walk, jog, bike or birdwatch along the miles of undulating terrain, filled with streams and lakes and lined with 4,000 cherry blossom trees.

Rock the jukebox over at McGovern’s Tavern. A nightlife favorite of Rutgers Law School students, this traditional Irish pub offers your typical fare as far as food and drinks go but also incorporates fun, friendly events each week. Join in for weekly Monday Night Football or Trivia Tuesday, as well as special performances.
