Jane Butel Cooking School has been voted as one of the top four cooking schools by Bon Appétit magazine. This school offers weekend classes to food enthusiasts who want to learn how to cook authentic Southwest Border cuisine. You can join these classes and interact with other food lovers to whip up some of the greatest salsas, tamales, and blue-corn chiles rellenos this side of Mexico. You will also get to cook a full dinner and enjoy perfect Margaritas while learning to cook Southwestern style.

Albuquerque's National Fiery Foods & BBQ Show is the hottest food event. With 15,000 fiery food fans, you can sample over 1,000 spicy foods and BBQ dishes from over 200 exhibitors. The event will be hosted by Sandia Resort and Casino, making it the perfect destination for your next fiery getaway. You'll have the opportunity to try everything from blazing BBQ to super-hot salsa and sweet heat desserts. The show features over 1,000 products, cooking demonstrations, food samples, Scovie Award-winning products, and 505 Food Fights, a cooking competition for charity. You can expect to see 170 exhibitors and over 20,000 attendees over three days at the National Fiery Foods & Barbecue Show.
