Paramotor City is an exceptional destination for pilots who enjoy observing wildlife while flying. The landing zone is maintained correctly, and it only takes a few minutes to reach the vast desert prairie, stunning mesas, and striking rock formations via flight. While flying, local pilots can spot wild horses, antelopes, coyotes, and prairie dogs. The airfield is near a dry riverbed to the west, and pilots often fly inside the arroyos for several miles. They frequently inquire about local instructors for paragliding, powered paragliding, powered parachuting, ultralight delta-wing, and fixed-wing ultralight.

The Sunshine Theater is a historic live music venue listed on the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties and an Albuquerque City Landmark. The venue boasts a fully stocked bar and has been operating as a live music venue since 1990.
