The Community Lighthouse

The University of New Mexico Art Museum is a free public space that aims to inspire visitors through its impressive collection of artwork. The Museum has been collecting art for over 60 years and now holds the most extensive collection of artwork in New Mexico. The Museum also hosts exhibitions featuring contemporary artists and offers workshops for visitors to create their art. The Museum's collection has gained recognition for its photography and printmaking sections. The Museum's director established the university's photography collection. The Adobe Theater initially opened in the village of Corrales, located just north of Albuquerque. In the mid-1990s, it moved to its current location, where it continues to offer some of the finest community theater experiences in the Albuquerque area.
