For over 33 years, Discovery Children's Museum has been a non-profit organization and the premier interactive museum in Southern Nevada. The Las Vegas Book Festival is the ultimate celebration of the written, spoken, and illustrated word, and it's happening in Nevada - the state's most significant literary event. For over twenty years, the city of Las Vegas, Nevada, Humanities, and community sponsors have worked tirelessly to bring the joy of books, learning, and reading to Las Vegas. Join thousands of attendees of all ages for a day-long bazaar of books, authors, readings, and workshops - all free and open to everyone. LVBF's programming is to share resources, develop audiences, advance writing skills, and encourage reading. There's something for everyone, from politics to Las Vegas history, romance novels, science fiction, Latino authors, thrillers, and more. LVBF also has a youth component with a children's area, live author readings, and illustrator demonstrations. Come and support the growth and development of the literary community in the Las Vegas Valley.

The Red Rock Climbing Center boasts more than 8,000 square feet of climbing walls designed by two of the world's top climbers, Tony Yaniro and Doug Englekirk. The facility offers top-rope and lead climbing, along with over 1,000 square feet of overhangs and roof routes to challenge even the most experienced climbers. With routes ranging from easy to very challenging, climbers of all skill levels can enjoy the center. The route-setters keep all but a handful of classics changing regularly, ensuring that climbers always have something new to climb. The walls are 35 feet high, and when combined with roofs, they have nearly 100-foot-long routes. Therefore, the center is ideal for those looking to develop the strength and stamina needed to tackle the fantastic sport and trad routes available in Red Rocks.
