The facility offers top-rope and lead climbing, along with over 1,000 square feet of overhangs and roof routes to challenge even the most experienced climbers. With routes ranging from easy to very challenging, climbers of all skill levels can enjoy the center. The route-setters keep all but a handful of classics changing regularly, ensuring that climbers always have something new to climb. The walls are 35 feet high, and when combined with roofs, they have nearly 100-foot-long routes. Therefore, the center is ideal for those looking to develop the strength and stamina needed to tackle the fantastic sport and trad routes available in Red Rocks.

The main feature at FSE is the 1,500-foot-long LED screen canopy that illuminates with over 12 million LED lamps. The canopy screenplays show Lucky Vegas, American Freedom, Don McLean's American Pie, A Tribute to Queen, and KISS Over Vegas while music blares in the background. It's worth keeping an eye on FSE's calendar as two stages on site have hosted concerts from bands like Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, Joe Diffie, Foghat, the Doobie Brothers, and more. The majority of the concerts held at the attraction are free.
