Bridges Boats

Stretching beside the Ohio & Erie Canal, the Towpath Trail winds and climbs through four distinct areas: Akron, Barberton, PPG Industries and Clinton. Use the open 21.5-mile recreation pathway to walk, jog, run, hike or bike while taking in the gorgeous sights. Fishing and camping are also allowed along the trail, as well as cross-country skiing during the snowy months.

Tickle your funny bone at the Funny Stop Comedy Club. Located in the Smith Centre, this comedy club is open five nights a week for people to kick back, relax and laugh themselves silly. Stop by for amateur stand-ups, open mic nights and special guest star performances–including stars from Comedy Central!

Get a different perception of the world’s past at the Akron Fossils & Science Center. This family-friendly center presents a variety of hands-on exhibits and attractions designed to showcase the fossils and artifacts from the view of creation science and intelligent design, rather than the accepted scientific models of planetary and animal evolution, making it one of the most unique museums of its kind in America.
