AKRON, Ohio The sound of crews using chain saws filled the air as workers cleared downed trees in Akron Saturday after a severe thunderstorm hit the area. Crews worked to open blocked roads like Wilbeth, after numerous trees fell during a severe thunderstorm. ROCKY RIVER, Ohio Multiple agencies were on scene of a crash involving a suspect who was allegedly trying to evade police on Saturday. According to the Rocky River Police Department, their officers were investigating a reported protective order violation when the suspect showed up at the victims home. NEW ORLEANS A husband and wife charged with violently abusing a young autistic woman in Louisiana and forcing her to live in an outdoor cage pleaded guilty Monday to multiple crimes in federal court. Terry Knope II, 46, and Raylaine Knope, 43, both pleaded guilty in New Orleans to charges involving forced labor. Terry Knope II also pleaded guilty to a hate crime charge.
