Founded in 1916 with the goal of preserving art for the benefit of the people, the museum is home to one of the most impressive collections in North America featuring more than 30,000 works that span over 5,000 years. Ancient Egyptian art sits alongside some of the most compelling contemporary art, and that fact dramatically underscores art's undeniable importance and influence throughout history.

There is no doubt about the fact that the people of Cleveland love their beer. Get a fascinating look at how beer is made by touring the Great Lakes Brewing Company. This facility has the distinction of being Cleveland’s oldest microbrewery. One of the more popular products of the brewery is Dortmunder Gold amber ale as well as Eliot Ness Porter and Burning River Ale. The tour is free and happens every hour on the hour on Fridays from 5pm to 9pm and on Saturdays from 1pm to 9pm.
