Its status and recognition was to primarily preserve and celebrate the rails, trails, landscapes, towns and sites that all grew along the first 110 miles of the canal that sparked growth for not only Ohio, but for the entire nation. Among these beautifully landscaped 110 miles you'll find the Towpath Trail, America's Byway, the Cuyahoga Scenic Railroad and various county park districts.

Kids seem to be used to being told to not touch things. But at the Children's Museum of Cleveland, they are encouraged to enjoy all of the many interactive, hands-on activities that are available to them. The venue's many exhibits and attractions feature everything from exploring the sands found in Galapagos, pirate adventures for treasure, and various family-oriented presentations. It's a great way for the kids to have fun while they are learning!
