Eugene's WOW Hall is a truly historic building that is owned by the Community for the Performing Arts. This is a nonprofit organization that has impressively preserved the vintage Woodmen of the World Hall as a truly memorable performing arts venue. Various performances as well as art exhibits and other entertainment are offered at the WOW Hall, supported by approximately 900 members and 400 volunteers.

There are classic events, and then there are classically classic events like the Oregon Bach Festival held the last part of June and into early July. Under the superb leadership of Helmuth Riling, the festival presents the choral and orchestral masterworks of Sebastian Bach. The event is held in Eugene at the University of Oregon's Beall Concert Hall and the Hult Center for the Performing Arts as well as other cities in Oregon.

Escape without having to go too far when you plan to spend a little romantic time together on a date at Hendricks Park. This is Eugene's oldest city park and it offers several natural amenities that will make your time together quite memorable. Over its sprawling 78 acres, the two of you will find a mature forest to marvel at, a highly-recognized rhododendron garden to admire, and several winding trails on which to stroll casually hand in hand.

Your senses will be awoken and dazzled at every turn when you visit the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art. The museum's mission is to constantly provide the means by which people's lives can be enriched through the enjoyment of art. And there is much to enjoy here, as the museum features a variety of pieces and exhibits that are rendered in various media and all make dramatic artistic statements. The facility is located on the campus of the University of Oregon and strives to maintain its reputation as one of the finest university museums in the world.
