This park is specifically designated as an off-leash area, so your dog can enjoy the freedom and fun of running free without leaving the view of your watchful eye. The park is conveniently located off of Royal Avenue at Candlelight.

The kids will be guided by the spirit of adventure and discovery when they visit the Science Factory's Children's Museum and Exploration Dome. A hands-on approach is highly encouraged when you encounter the many interactive science and technology exhibits and attractions that are found here. Plus, the live star shows and full-dome videos are just two of the many exhibits that the whole family will marvel at. The facility also presents special events, classes, and offers the perfect setting for group gatherings and birthday parties. There's also an excellent gift shop that you will definitely want to visit.

The Ridgeline Trail Loop begins at the base of Spencer Butte and follows the Ridgeline Trail across Fox Hollow Road, forms a loop, and then ends back at Spencer Butte Park. This recreation trail is mainly used for running but also accommodates hikers, mountain bikers and leashed dogs. The elevation is at 250 feet and the trail stretches for a total of 7 miles.

Breathing in Eugene's fresh clean air is always more refreshing when you do it at Alton Baker Park. This incredible park stretches out over 402 acres to make it the city's largest riverfront park. And it doesn't matter what season it is, as the park hosts various festivals, running and walking races and community events throughout the year. There's also an off-leash dog park, the Cuthbert Theatre, Pre's Trail and other attractions on the grounds, as well.
