Lightbridge Academy Hampton Township

Located at the tip of Pittsburgh’s confluence of three rivers, Point State Park preserves and commemorates a historical marker for the state and the country. See one of the most dramatic views of the Pittsburgh riverfront, and take some time to relax outdoors at the park’s waterways, scenic hillsides, many bridges and 100-foot-tall fountain. Or, learn about the past by visiting the Fort Duquesne remains and the Fort Pitt Museum.

Since 1962, Stage 62 has continuously presented at least four plays annually. Catch a musical in November, a children’s show in February, a drama/comedy in May and a musical in July. This non-profit theater company resides in the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall, where you can catch a seasonal performance or one of the additional special events.

Visit the site of the historic Fort Pitt Museum in downtown Pittsburgh. Strategically built at the forks of the Ohio River in 1759 and added onto in 1764, the current two-story museum first opened to the public in 1969. Learn about the role the Steel City played in shaping the United States through interactive exhibitions and attractions, and recently added artifacts.

Take a plunge down 14 of the wettest, wackiest, wildest waterslides in the world at Sandcastle Water Park. Not up for heart-pounding thrills? Head to the lazy river, where you can enjoy a slow ride around the park, or relax in the world’s largest hot tub while the children play at Wet Willie's WaterWorks or splash in the Tad Pool. There's no shortage of water attractions at this park.
