Dinosaur lovers will not want to miss Carnegie Museum of Natural History, home to one of the finest Jurassic period collections in the world. Shiver under the skeleton of a massive T-Rex, travel to the world of the Ancient Egyptians pharaohs, listen to the pounding of distant drums in the Hall of American Indians and more. You’ll have so much fun with the attractions, you won’t even realize you’re learning at the same time!

Since 1962, Stage 62 has continuously presented at least four plays annually. Catch a musical in November, a children’s show in February, a drama/comedy in May and a musical in July. This non-profit theater company resides in the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall, where you can catch a seasonal performance or one of the additional special events.

Young ones can let their imaginations soar at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh. Specially designed play areas and galleries provide entertaining, educational fun for kids. Toddlers have their own special area designed to suit their developmental needs. Older children will have a blast exploring the interactive attractions spread throughout the museum.

See the Pittsburgh Penguins tear up the ice with hard-hitting sports action in the Consol Energy Center. These Penguins have been known to soar, taking home three Stanley Cups and numerous titles and championships. Come cheer on this professional ice hockey team, and show your support by wearing black, gold and white!
