Young ones can let their imaginations soar at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh. Specially designed play areas and galleries provide entertaining, educational fun for kids. See the stars, or at least a place where they study the stars, at the University of Pittsburgh’s Allegheny Observatory. This national historic landmark has been a vital part of American astronomical research since 1859. Nowadays, the Allegheny Observatory is open to free public tours from April until the end of October.
