Established in1947, this is a nonprofit organization that strives to preserve the historical, architectural and material culture that make up Charleston's heritage. Every September, the Scottish Games and Highland Gathering takes place to celebrate all things Scottish and Celtic. The unmistakable sound of bagpipes as well as drumming and Highland dancing are a constant feature of the festivities.
