World's Fair Park | Sunsphere
Knoxville had the honor of hosting the World's Fair in 1982. One of the most obvious reminders of that momentous event is the fact that the Sunsphere was built to complement the event and it still stands today as a great way for tourists to get a bird's eye view of the city. Dogwood Arts Festival
The Dogwood Arts Festival is highly recognized as the best 17 days in April. Spring into spring with special events all over Knox County that include art shows, craft fairs, lots of great food and live music, too! Also, the event features more than 60 miles of landscaping and garden trails.

The Beck Cultural Exchange Center documents the plights and contributions of African-Americans to the east Tennessee region. These stories are told through the creative use of historical books, newspapers, recordings, films and various other artifacts.
