World's Fair Park | Sunsphere World's Fair Park | Sunsphere

Knoxville had the honor of hosting the World's Fair in 1982. One of the most obvious reminders of that momentous event is the fact that the Sunsphere was built to complement the event and it still stands today as a great way for tourists to get a bird's eye view of the city. Visit the various levels and enjoy views of downtown, the University of Tennessee and the mountains in the distance.
