Go on a water recreation adventure with Ghost River Canoe and Kayak Rentals. Follow the well-marked canoe trail in the Wolf River. This 8.5-mile trail includes many turns, beautiful cypress, wildlife sightings, a trip through Spirit Lake and the mystic Ghost Section. Located about half an hour outside of Memphis, this part of the river is great for more experienced paddlers but not recommended for beginners.

Watch a timeless story performed at the Germantown Community Theatre. Heading into its 50th season, this community theater produces comedies, dramas, classical musicals, and other entertainment that appeals to all ages. Special events, performances and classes occur throughout the year, and the company encourages people of all ages in the community to volunteer and become involved in the art of theater.

Go Tigers! Go! Get ramped up for the University of Memphis Tigers. The Memphis Tigers consist of nine women's sports teams and nine men's, including baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, rifle, soccer, tennis, track and field and volleyball. Wear blue and grey, and come out to support the local college sports teams.

Formerly the Memphis Cotton Carnival, Carnival Memphis has been around since 1931. This annual celebration consists of a series of parties and festivals similar to Mardi Gras. During the month of June, the Carnival Memphis Association and its krewes select a King, Queen, and Royal Court to reign over the festivities, including parades and events celebrating local industries.
