Africa in April Cultural Awareness Festival, Inc. works hard to bring training sessions, networking opportunities and marketing outlets to this festival and to various events throughout the year.

For cutting edge entertainment dealing with controversial issues not normally produced by conventional theatres, go to Emerald Theatre Company. This theater showcases many plays, ranging from serious dramas to lighthearted musicals, which present GLBT concerns and themes. Tickets are available for single or seasonal showings, with discounts for seniors and students.

Little ones will adore the Children's Museum. Entertain young children for hours with 24 permanent exhibits and attractions that range from art to transportation. Children can climb "skyscrapers," generate tornados, observe the (literal) birds and bees in natural habitats and much, much more. Special events and programs are held regularly.
