Built on a former railroad, the 7-mile long Shelby Farms Greenline is part of the Mid-South's latest development in urban parks and trails. This paved greenline serves as a walking, jogging and biking recreational trail. Gardens and greenscaping are scattered along the walkway, providing beautiful scenery in the urban community.
Indulge in your sweet tooth with Dinstuhl's Fine Candy Company. This locally owned and operated candy company has been making Memphis a little sweeter since 1902 with goodies like chocolates, truffles, fudge and chocolate covered fruit. Visitors to the Mid-South may want to enjoy a few southern favorites.
Listen to a performance in an outdoor setting at the Handy Park Amphitheater during the evenings. Handy Park is located downtown on famous Beale Street. This beautiful park has plenty of space on the lawn and between the trees to spread out a blanket as you take in the music of different bands, from blues to rock.
Listen to some of the best live blues and jazz music in Memphis at Wild Bill's, home to beer and blues. This juke joint doubles as a restaurant, so you can chow down on delicious food while enjoying live entertainment. Head out onto the dance floor or just sit at one of the long tables and chat with friends, new and old, at one of the hottest music venues on the nightlife scene.
