Walk along the scenic Riverwalk or take a ride on the Monorail at Mud Island River Park, home to plenty of attractions and Memphis's own Adventure Center-the best place to get out and be active within the city. Rent a bike to explore the trails and surrounding area, or take a canoe or kayak out on the river. Learn about the history of the Lower Mississippi Valley at Mud Island's Mississippi River Museum.
Delve into the Native American way of life at the Chucalissa Museum and Archaeological Site. At this attraction, you'll learn about the culture and traditions of the indigenous inhabitants of the Mid-South through a variety of exhibits and artifacts. Displays about contemporary Southeastern Native America and the African American cultural heritage of the Chucalissa site's landscape are also found throughout the museum.
Choose from a series of twelve different tours with Blues City Tours. Travel around the city in a bus or the river in a paddlewheeler as the tour guide shares fun and interesting facts with the group. Once you reach your destination, you will have the chance to get off the bus and explore. Admission to stop-off sites is included in the tour ticket.
